Predating the Modern Craft Internet
When this page was captured on May 16, 2001, most of the online craft world didn’t exist yet. There was no Etsy, no Pinterest, no Ravelry, no Facebook groups, no YouTube tutorials, and no social‑media‑driven craft communities. Smartphones weren’t in our hands, and most people were still on dial‑up internet.
And yet, here I was - already collecting Workbasket Magazine, listing duplicates, helping people find long‑lost patterns, and building one of the very first online resources dedicated to the magazine.
This early page predates nearly every modern craft platform. It represents the beginning of what would eventually become MyCraftBasket.com, long before I ever thought of it as a “brand.” I was simply sharing what I loved, organizing what I had, and helping other crafters find the patterns they remembered.
This snapshot is proof of how early my Workbasket journey began and how long I’ve been preserving and documenting its history online.

Crafting and Workbasket Magazine
I have been a crafter since the time I could hold a crayon. My crafting hobbies include Paper Crafts, Rubber Stamping, Card Making, Knitting, Crochet, Tatting, Sewing and Embroidery. I took art all through high school and I was able experienced may other art forms. Because of this, I feel my art work is more balance which pleases the eye.
