Evolution of My Web Page

In the beginning...

I joined AOL back in the mid 90's and tried selling my duplicates on eBay. With the time and effort it took to get the issues listed and also paying eBay their percentage, I soon realized that was not the way to go. I decided to try my hand at building a web page. It was simple but it was effective. Things were going very well and my site came up at the top of most of the search engines until AOL decided they would no longer host web sites. They gave me one month to move my site. It wouldn't have been so bad if they had place a forwarding address but instead my site was closed down completely.

Now that my AOL site was gone my new web page listed with Verizon had to start from the bottom and work it's way up through the search engines. If you are familiar with Verizon you maybe saying to yourself, "oh oh," at this point because, yes, Verizon was sold to Frontier. But the good thing is, all web sites through Verizon were forwarded and the old Verizon address still shows in many search engines.

In February 12th, 2012, I decided to venture further and purchased the Domain name "MyCraftBasket.com". If you have old Verizon and Frontier bookmarks please update it to the new domain name.

On to the next upgrade...

From 2012 to the beginning of 2020 I used html to create my own pages. This year I decided to add a little pizzazz to my website and make it easier to update more frequently! Please email me if you'd like to keep updated about events at MyCraftbasket@aol.com or hit the Sign Up button to subscribe!
